SUFFERING FROM STRESS? |
STRESS DISRUPTS BODY SYSTEMS
When a person is under stress their body can start getting tense too. A healthy body needs plenty of hydration, rest, and adequate exercise. When under chronic stress, a person tends to neglect the usual pattern which the body uses to restore all the systems. Stress can drive a person to high blood pressure, insomnia, and changes in dietary habits.
CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENT HELPS RESTORE
When the body's can not recuperate on a regular basis, things go wrong. Back pain can be affected by chronic stress. Trigger points in the muscles can become over sensitive and lead to pain. Our body needs to synchronize and return to a normal mode in order to function at it's best performance. Constant stress also can challenge the bodies immune system which drains its ability to recuperate. Receiving a series of chiropractic treatments is a good proactive way to relieve stress.
RESEARCH SUPPORTS CHIROPRACTIC
Below is a scientific research project in 2014 done by Japanese scientists who measured how chiropractic adjustments impact the nervous system. They took 12 men and women who were suffering notable neck pain and monitored their cortisol hormone changes along with observing PET brain scans taken in order to assess their stress levels. This was done before and after the patients received chiropractic adjustments. The results of their laboratory findings suggested that chiropractic treatment was responsible for significantly reducing stress levels in these subjects.
